Shape characteristics of the Shar-Pei
Shar-Pei (confirmed introduction)

Shar-Pei dogs are exceptionally well-proportioned, with males often being slightly larger than females. The biggest characteristic of the Shar-Pei is its wrinkled skin, which feels very comfortable and its body is close to a square shape. With shoulder height generally around 18 to 20 inches, Sharpei is relatively independent and aloof in nature, appearing calm and proud wherever he stands. Young Shar Pei may have wrinkles all over its body, but as adults, these wrinkles may be limited to the head, neck, and withers.

Sharpi’s head is large and slender, his forehead is covered with a lot of wrinkles, his eyes are dark and small, almond-shaped, with a frowning expression. Its ears are extremely small, thick, and are equilateral triangles with rounded tops, curved edges, high positions, and wide distances.

The Shar-Pei's muzzle is rather special, wide and full, with a large and wide nose, and a darker complexion, some of which are similar to the coat's complexion. The teeth are thick and have a scissors bite. The neck is relatively full and of medium length. There are many folds in the neck and throat, and the skin is relatively loose and has fat.

The Sharpei’s hips are flat and the base of the tail is extremely high, which is quite special. The tail appears thick and rounded at the base, tapered at the tip, and curved on the reverse or back.

The coat is extremely coarse, very straight and set on important parts of the body, but the hair generally on the hands and feet lies flat and slightly flat.

Solid and mink-colored sandis are best. When trotting, the gait is extended and stable. When trotting quickly, the paws tend to close toward the core line of the body.

Sharpei looks gorgeous and strong, and its unique and special appearance adds a lot of points to it.
