The white-striped snake
The white-striped snake is the Chinese Shuofang A widely dispersed non-venomous snake. The body of the white-striped elaphe is thicker and longer, up to more than 1 meter in length. The back of the snake body is gray-olive or gray-brown, or yellow-brown, with three white vertical stripes. The white-striped golden snake has a thick, plier-like brown stripe on the back of its head, and a black stripe behind its eyes. The belly of the white-striped snake is gray-white or gray-brown with many black freckles.
The nostrils of the White-striped Golden Snake are large and congratulated, opening between the front and rear nasal scales that are several dozen in size; 1 cheek scale, longer than high; 2 preorbital scales, with a few of 1 or 3. , not tangent to the frontal scales; 1 supraorbital scale; 2 postorbital scales; 2 temporal scales = 3 (or 4). There are 8 (3-2-3) upper lip scales, the 7th being the largest; there are 10-11 pairs of lower labial scales, the first pair cuts behind the chin scales, and the first 5 pairs cut the anterior chin.
Most of the dorsal scales have 25 rows, and a few have 23 rows; the middle section has 25 rows, a few have 23, and each has 27 lines; the anterior anal segment has 19 rows, and each has 17 rows; all dorsal scales have 9 rows with weak edges. . There are 173-193 abdominal scales and 177-189 in females; 63-69 pairs of lower tail scales and 54-60 pairs in males. Anal scales are divided. The back is grayish gray, grayish brown or brownish yellow.
There are three dark brown patterns on the top of the head:
The first one is thin or not obvious, crossing the internasal scales through the buccal scales and preorbital scales to reach the eyes; the second one is weak and wide, It crosses the forehead scales obliquely and goes backwards through the upper corner of the preorbital scales to the eye where it joins the previous one. The eye is a thick black stripe diagonally to the insult; the third stripe is the widest and runs along the outer half of the supraorbital and parietal scales across the separation of the forehead scales. After traveling to the back of the pillow, the two sides of the "bell-shaped" shape are combined to form a special pillow pattern. The patterns on the top of the head are especially obvious when young snakes are young.
There are three light-colored vertical stripes on the back of the body and tail; the middle one on the front and back is narrow and hazy, often separated by black spots (about 1-2 scales wide), and the two stripes on both sides are wider. The freckles on the outer sides of the abdominal scales and the lower tail scales are thick and intermittent like chains; some individuals still have small brown-red freckles scattered on both sides of the abdomen.
